Why FileMaker Pro?
You might be wondering why the Athletic Scheduler was built in FileMaker Pro, which requires a separate purchase alongside the scheduler itself. The reason is simple: FileMaker Pro is not only one of the most powerful and user-friendly databases available, but it also enables rapid, on-the-fly customization. Both you and I can tailor the scheduler to meet evolving needs instantly—unlike rigid, off-the-shelf programs that offer limited flexibility or require months for even minor modifications. This adaptability is what makes FileMaker the ideal foundation for a dynamic, school-specific solution.

Schedule Grid

The Schedule  Grid allows you to view your schedule in a Date by Team grid.  In this view you can edit, cancel & confirm  contests, along with all related functions.

Multi-Year Scheduling

Plan and manage future years’ seasons while actively working within the current one and streamline long-range scheduling without affecting active events.

Email & Calendar

Email your communications directly out of the Athletic Scheduler.  You can also post your contest to your Google or Outlook Calendar as well as export it using ical to import into your school's website calendar (such as Finalsite), or using programs such as Trumba.

Practices & Rentals

You can schedule Practices & Rentals just like contests, or create practice schedules automatically. This feature generates practices, skipping game and vacation days. Now you can even split your practice across different facilities and assign Priority locations when they are available..

Contest Logistics

The logistics calculator calculates the Dismissal Time, Departure Time, Pre-Game Meal, Post-Game Meal, and Return Time uniquely for each Contest in seconds.  The Check List keeps track of your scheduling process from Logistics to Posting Results.

Budget/Inventory

Inventory includes your uniform and equipment inventory to track the size, quality, quantity and assignment of each product.

Contracts & Reminders

Athletic contracts, or as some call them Letters of Agreement, are easily generated and either printed or emailed. Reminders can easily be sent out to individuals in your school as well as your opponents and officials.

Facilities

Facilities can be tracked by entering locations for each event (contest, practice, and rental) by each organization and group.

Transportation

Transportation can be assigned and managed, and shared with all.
What do users say..

"We are really happy with the program and have nicknamed it “The Perk”. .We started using the Athletic Scheduler in the spring of 2022 and love it. It has everything you need for planning and organizing contests. There is some work on the front end to get it up and running and once that is done it is smooth sailing. Mark’s years of experience in athletics allowed him to create a very comprehensive program. He is always quick to reply to questions or issues and is willing to customize the program so it work best for us. We recommend the Athletic Scheduler Pro 2022 to any school."
Tracy Coole, Phillips Exeter Academy
Administrative Assistant for Physical Education & Athletics

“The Athletic Scheduling program streamlines all the detail work that we do in Athletics and makes doing even the more complex time consuming tasks, as simple as a click. The program can be built specific to the needs of your own school, Mark is very responsive and accommodating to all of our requests. From adding a bus time to the departure details so that we can more easily create a bus schedule, to building separate grid views for both Middle School & Upper School Sports, to helping us develop a weekly schedule exporting option that will combine all games, travel details and practices for any given week - Mark has been extremely helpful in adapting the program to fit all of our specific needs. We love the ease of this program.”

“The Athletic Scheduler software has done wonders for communication and logistics from my office. The easy to use functions and reminders have allowed our office to run more smoothly and efficiently. The best part has been the customer service. To have someone who designed the software on the other end of the phone to walk you through the system is invaluable. Mark was very patient with me and listened to what I wanted out of the program. I honestly would not be able to run our department without it.”
